The three-bedroom townhouse is ideally located in this popular seaside resort on the south coast of Dorset.
Sleeping up to a maximum of six people (plus an infant under the age of two years) and with parking for one car, the house has a light and airy lounge that opens onto a patio garden.
Inside there is a fully-fitted modern kitchen-diner, a large double bedroom with en-suite, a family bathroom and two smaller bedrooms.
For those who love the outdoors, there is plenty of storage space for kayaks, wet suits and cycles.
We also welcome one well behaved dog included in the price of your stay.
New season, new look!
Peel’s Retreat is getting a fresh new look for 2026.
The three-storey town house is tucked away in a quieter spot of Weymouth and just a short stroll from the tranquil Newton’s Cove.
Peel’s Retreat has been a popular seaside destination for members since we purchased the property eight years ago and we are excited to share news of its recent refurbishment.
Sleeping up to a maximum of six people and with parking for two cars, the house is a great base to explore Dorset and its many attractions.
Previous visitors have praised its superb location. It’s just a short walk to shingle-and-rock Newton’s Cove, where you can enjoy activities like rock pooling, wild swimming, and snorkelling. The Cove also offers lovely views of Portland Harbour and the Jurassic Coast.
Peel’s Retreat is tucked away along the cove, just below Nothe Gardens and Nothe Fort and yet still close to the bustling town centre.
Weymouth Beach is also within walking distance. The award-winning sandy beach is known for its safe, shallow waters (with the water quality recognized by a Blue Flag award.) It features a magnificent Georgian seafront, offering numerous amenities like cafes, toilets, and hire facilities.
The beach provides traditional activities like donkey rides and Punch and Judy shows and during the summer months, RNLI lifeguards are on duty, and various amusements, water sports, and events are available.
For those who enjoy the fresh sea air and a coastal walk there are plenty to chose from including the Rodwell Trail, a flat, traffic-free path from Weymouth town to Ferrybridge, and various sections of the South West Coast Path, such as the routes to Osmington Mills or Abbotsbury.
For more challenging walks, you can hike to Durdle Door, visit White Nothe, or tackle the climb to Golden Cap. Many circular routes also exist, such as the Osmington White Horse or Abbotsbury Hills walks.

Peel’s refurbishment
Our seaside property is getting a fresh new look for the 2026/7 holiday season. The kitchen, lounge and hallway now has new rustic oak effect flooring. The light and airy lounge has two new leather sofas, complete with comfy throws.
The family bathroom has been refreshed and the ensuite bathroom, in the main bedroom, features a new shower.
Work to the outside of the property
We will also be giving the outside of Peel’s a bright new facelift, with fresh paintwork. The gates to the property will be rebuilt and painted with a new security lock. Because the planned work is reliant on good weather, improvements to the outside of the building will commence during the month of June.
Due to scaffolding being erected and work being carried out to the outside of the property during that period, we will be reducing our booking fees by £100 for three weeks throughout June.
Reduced rates will automatically show on the online booking calendar for selected weeks.
Disruption will be kept to an absolute minimum and access inside the property will NOT be required.
Holiday home ballot now closed
Our holiday ballot has now closed, thank you to everyone who expressed an interest.
If you are successful, you will be contacted by a member of our team this week to arrange a deposit payment and to fill in your booking details.
How to book after the ballot
After the ballot, all members can book weeks that are still available at either of our holiday properties. Simply click on the calendar and select the week you wish to stay. Prices for individual weeks can be found by hovering over a week on the calendar. Once you have registered your interest you will receive a confirmation email and if successful you will be contacted by a member of our team to arrange a deposit payment and to fill in your booking details.

Here’s our guide to Weymouth
The town is a great base for walkers and Radipole Lake RSPB Nature Reserve is right in the centre of Weymouth.
Over 200 events are held at the seaside resort every year, including fireworks festival, dragon boat racing and the annual summer carnival.
There are also sailing events, water sports and boat trips.
