Putting our members at the heart of everything we do

£2 is a very small amount in modern times but with membership of the Benevolent Fund increasing year on year, we’re able to turn that small £2 monthly membership subscription into a life line for many of our members.

2026 has already been a very busy year and thanks to the ongoing support of our members we have be able to give thousands of pounds in benefits to those who need help.

In fact, we are so proud of the level of support our police charity continues to offer that we have now launched a visual counter on our website that increases each month with every pound pledged in support.

This rolling figure provides a daily reminder to our supporters, our members and to fellow colleagues that the Benevolent Fund Charity puts its members at the very heart of everything we do.

So far this year we have given £87,821.03 in grants and benefits to help members through illness, injury, unexpected life events and bereavement.
