Member wins £100 health voucher in HQ gym draw
Last month marked the official opening of the new force gym, in Lloyd House.
The 24/7 free facility, equipped with cardio machines and weights, is situated in the basement of Police HQ and is a welcome addition to the building where over 1,500 staff and officers are based.
To celebrate the opening of the HQ gym, West Midlands Police launched four prize draws for new members signing up before 25 February.
The Benevolent Fund donated a £100 voucher, as one of the four prizes, that can be redeemed at a variety of sportswear, health and wellbeing stores.
Entries to the draw were also encouraged to sign up to the Benevolent Fund if not already a member of our police charity.
“We were happy to support this healthy life style initiative and encourage members to sign up to both the gym and the Benevolent Fund,” explained charity Chairman, John Williams.
Congratulations to serving officer, Donna who is the lucky winner of the £100 voucher.
“It was lovely to win,” exclaimed Donna. “I’m looking forward to treating myself!”
