Record number of PCSO’s and Police Staff join the Ben Fund
We are pleased to say that word is getting around that WMP PCSO’s and police staff are entitled to join the West Midlands Police Benevolent Fund as well as serving officers.
This year we have signed up nearly 200 PSCO’s and police staff to the Benevolent Fund.
Our charity has been offering support to West Midlands Police colleagues since 1974 and for just £2.00 per month it offers peace of mind that assistance may be given in times of hardship or distress.
Members are enjoying increasing benefits for their £2.00 monthly subscription, which has remained at that fee for over a decade.
Earlier this year we introduced a new free Will Writing Service for members in addition to our wide range of wellbeing benefits.
For the third consecutive year police families have given the thumbs up to the charity’s family fun days that are held every summer at Blackwell Court Adventure and Aztec Water Park.
Another membership benefit proving immensely popular with colleagues is the discounted holidays breaks at the Ben Fund’s two seaside properties in Weymouth and Dartmouth.
Members can also save money through the Funds Your Rewards Scheme, saving money of groceries, dining out, attractions, holidays and much more.
