Our charity’s AGM – Wednesday 8 September
The doors are finally open to welcome you to our AGM
After being forced to cancel last year’s Annual General Meeting due to the pandemic, we’re delighted to announce this year’s event will be going ahead as planned on Wednesday 8 Sept at 11 am here at Guardian’s House, Sheldon.
We’re really looking forward to welcoming members in person and sharing news of our charity’s performance and activities over the past year. We have another important purpose of this year’s meeting, a Special Resolution which members can vote on.
John Williams, our Chairman will explain in more detail at Wednesday’s event, but in summary after the disruption and challenges caused by Covid-19 last year we will be asking members to cast their vote on giving our charity greater flexibility in the way we hold our meetings in the future.
By voting ‘Yes’ you will be granting our Trustees and Operations Committee the ability to meet virtually from different locations, to not hold a face-to-face AGM one year if it seems the safest option not to.
Hope to see there!
