Spread some love for a good cause
As Valentine’s Day approaches why not show someone how much you care by sending one of our charity e-cards.
With eleven designs to choose from you can pledge your love with an e-card and donate the cost of the card (and maybe a gift) to the West Midlands Police Benevolent Fund.
You get to send your loved one a special message and they’ll get to see that you have put the money to supporting a worthy cause.
Every penny generated from the sale of our cards provides essential support to serving and retired officers and police staff who are facing financial hardship or personal distress.
Ben Fund Chairman, John Williams commented, “While many of us continue to live and work remotely, Valentine’s Day this year is a nice way to show our extended loved ones, friends and family how much they mean to us during these difficult times.
“This is an innovative take on the traditional Valentine’s Day card…an e-card with a donation! And every penny we get from the cards will make a real difference to the members we directly support.”
We’ve partnered with www.dontsendmeacard.com and for every donation you pledge you can send up to 100 e-cards. Once you have made your donation you will be sent an automatic email from DontSendMeACard which contains a link stating “Click to send up to 100 e-cards.” Click that link and you can go back to send more cards.
For single cards, such as birthdays, you can send up to five e-cards. More greeting cards will be added to our fund raising page throughout the year and obviously by choosing e-cards over the traditional kind, you’ll also be doing your bit to protect the planet.
You can even invite people to do the same. When you send your e-card the recipient will see the option to follow your example with a button inviting them to ‘Do the Same’. In fact, as a user and advocate of this, it is you that has the ability to encourage loved ones to give to a cause that you care about.
