Donate your used printer cartridges and help our police charity

Did you know that you can help the West Midlands Benevolent Fund to raise vital funds by simply recycling your ink cartridges?

We have registered with the Recycle4Charity programme and for each inkjet cartridge recycled we will receive a £1 donation.

There was a massive spike in the sales of ink cartridges during the Covid lockdown, as households relied on the home printer to cope with office closures and home-schooling.

We’re now appealing to members, as well as their wider circle of family and friends to recycle their unwanted home ink cartridges and give them to the Recycle4Charity.

A staggering 45 million printer cartridges end up at landfill every year here in the UK, taking an estimated 1,000 years to decompose.

So, by recycling your inkjet cartridges not only are you being a little kinder to the environment but you’re also giving the Benevolent Fund a little cash boost enabling us to help even more serving and retired officers, police staff and their families through difficult times.

To start, all you need to do is go to the address shown below and sign up for your free account.

Register now at – http://www.recycle4charity.co.uk/Register/C96189

If you’re a serving officer or police staff you can also post them in the WMP internal post, marked for West Midlands Police Benevolent Fund.
