What would the gift of £10 give?

£10 doesn’t seem a large sum in today’s money but if we look closely at all the things West Midlands Police Benevolent Fund offers its members we soon realise a £10 gift would help so many people and offer much needed support.

£10 would contribute to the £25 weekly amount West Midlands Police Benevolent Fund pays to the widows and orphans of members whose lives were tragically cut short during their police service.  It would fund the monthly subscription of a serving officer for five months or a retired member for almost a year! It would send a ‘Get Well’ wish to people currently off work through injury or illness by contributing to the gift voucher scheme offering a small cash boost.  £10 would support the cost of sending someone for a week’s convalescence or rehabilitation break or pay towards a floral tribute for our fallen officers.

Multiple £10’s equal life-saving grants for serving and retired officers, police staff and their families in times of hardship or distress. £10, like every pound West Midlands Police receives is a grateful amount that makes a big difference to the lives of those who need help.

We are immensely grateful for the continued support of our members during these unprecedented times and for the kind donations we have received in recent months. A donation, however small makes a massive difference and enables us to offer even more help and assistance when it is needed.

From everyone here at West Midlands Police Benevolent Fund we would like to say …
