Fallen heroes remembered
We were honoured to support the West Midlands Police Memorial Service to commemorate 100 years of armistice on Friday 9th November.
The loved ones of fallen heroes joined the Chief Constable, Dave Thompson, along with police colleagues for a moving service at Steelhouse Lane Lock-up.
The memorial service featured the unveiling of an electronic Roll of Honour that paid tribute to the Birmingham, Coventry, Walsall and Wolverhampton police officers who joined the Armed Forces during World War I and World War II and died as a result of the conflict.
The Benevolent Fund contributed to the cost of purchasing the ipad that will play the Roll of Honour to visitors of the Police Museum.
