Ben Fund runners put the ‘Great’ into the Great Birmingham Run
Our Ben Fund runners put the ‘GREAT’ into the Simply Health Great Birmingham Run yesterday, Sunday 14 October, when they battled the torrential rain to accomplish the half marathon.
Serving and retired officers, police staff and friends of members were put through their paces as they battled the wind and rain to complete the 13.1 mile route and raise vital funds for the Fund.
With over 11,000 people taking part we were keen to spot our amazing runners as they crossed the finishing line and thank them for their incredible efforts.
Thankfully all of our Ben Fund Team members finished and we were able to say a personal thank you to everyone who took part.
So far our fundraising has exceeded the original £500 target, however we are keen to raise as much money as we can.
