Benevolent Fund’s Reward and Recognition helps WMP Finance say “thank you” to staff

Reward and Recognition funding offered by WMP Benevolent Fund was enjoyed by Force Finance Department last week as part of a special away day to thank staff.

The Senior Leadership Team wanted to do something to recognise the hard work carried out by colleagues and decided a buffet lunch for the entire department would be an ideal way to say thank you to their staff.

Caroline Jones, Chief Accountant explained; “The Finance team have worked incredibly hard implementing a new finance system. Staff were willing to be flexible and work directly on the project where necessary, ensuring we delivered business as usual whilst the changeover took place.

“Because the new system has touched every member of staff in our department we felt a buffet lunch would be an ideal way to show our appreciation as a collective award to our staff members.

“This has been possible thanks to WMP Benevolent Fund who agreed to fund the refreshments.

“We are really grateful for their offer of support and the team had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.”
