2015 Lifetime Achiever Award for John

Rev. John Butcher, a member of our Management Committee and WMP’s Force Lead Chaplain, received a ‘2015 Lifetime Achiever Award’ at the recent ‘Excellence in Diversity Awards 2015’ in Manchester.

Nominated by West Midlands Police, John was awarded a framed Certificate of Excellence for being shortlisted down to the last five out of 600 nominations.

The award recognises people who have devoted ‘a major portion of their professional life to enhancing the practice of equality and diversity, making significant, innovative, and cumulatively outstanding contributions to the cause’.
