Ben Fund accounts posted

Members can read the Benevolent Fund’s end-of-year accounts which have now been posted on our website in the members area. Headline figures this year in terms of how money has been spent show that the Fund has given out over £31,000 in gifts and grants to help members suffering financial hardship or distress. We have also donated nearly £25,000 to widows and orphans and over £4,000 has helped to support members with convalescence. During the last 12 months, the Fund has also helped over 40 officers and police staff to deal with their debt issues.

Only members of the Benevolent Fund can access these accounts online and this is why they are protected by a password. The password is included in our summer newsletter which has been posted to all our members.
