Grants update

£3,500 in grants were awarded to three serving officers in need of help this month.

One officer, who is terminally ill, was given money towards a fund to take him and his family away on holiday.

Two others facing immediate financial hardship and unable to access loans from any other source received grants to help them through really difficult times.

The Benevolent Fund’s management committee meets every six weeks to consider applications for grants and loans.
