How the Fund helped Trevor
Former officer Trevor Reed was injured on duty in 1983 and has suffered ever since with chronic neck and head pain.
A grant from the Benevolent Fund meant that he could fit a sliding patio door giving him easier access to his garden.
He was really pleased with the quality of the work and the end result has helped to ease the strain on his neck and shoulders because the original door was very difficult to open.
It is now making a big difference on the days when he isn’t bed-bound. “There are no sufficient words to express the gratitude of my wife and myself to the committee,” said Trevor.
